Yes, Paul is correct. If a link is loose, it is because it is cracked. It usually happens to the first one attached to the saw. Because it is cracked, it will easily pull off of the saw. Either heat it with a heat gun or hair dryer, or hot water. Pull off the cracked link with needle nose pliers. Then reheat the next good link, then press it back into place.
