A way to clear my mind between orders

I finished one order and was hesitating on the next so I tried something else that scares me but is my own so I can screw it up without a problem.  These are 13 hours into it -- unfortunately I have to start the next one so am shelving this for now -- maybe  (or I could just be insane for trying this but it's working)

3/8 Baltic with a #1 modified geometry on a Pegas

When the blade gets dull I'm afraid to change atm -- need super control till the edge dulls a bit -- then its easier

Looking good so far.  A word of advise, don't drill all of the holes at the same time that way if you unrepairably muck up you haven't wasted all of the wood.

New small blades can be super aggressive. I saw a few strokes in oak to reduce the agressiveness. 2/0 and #1 blades try to run away on their own for me especially when I'm making a sharp turn.

That is an awesome project. I might have to give it a try someday. Not yet, that's for sure. I'm still struggling with cutting a large circle.

Well, the principle is still the same. One walker ahead of the cane. Rinse, repeat.

That is amazing.  In looking back through the thread, I didn’t see size.  What is the size?

I'd love to try some thing like that.  And I may after I finish 3 other projects.  You will make it.  I find the modified geometry blades too aggressive for me on most thing, in fact I really only use them on 3D cutting.  I do like the Pegas Skip Tooth blades thought and what I use most the time now.

Please keep us posted.  It is looking awesome.  How big is it?
