Basket - C01

The pattern is by Alex Fox.  I enlarged the pattern to fit a 10" x 10" piece of 1/4" Mahogany.  Since I cut this at home, I cut it on the EX21 using FD UR #1 blades.  The finish is three coats of spray Polyurethane Clear Gloss.  I normally do not use gloss, but it fits this project.  Comments welcome.

Like everyone said nice basket. Just wondering why use FD blades at home and not Pegas?  I will reach for my old FD blades and change mind and get a Pegas lol

Thanks.  I still have a lot of FD Polar and UR blades.  I still like FD.  Glad you changed your mind and got the Pegas.

Very nice!  I bet the glue up is more difficult than the cutting.

Very fine looking basket.  I have cut this one 3 times.  Always stack 2 layers.  Yes Gluing was

a hassle the very first one, but after that it was Piece of Cake................Danny  :+}
