Popular Post Fedido
Village, I embarked on a journey last Oct when my neighbor gave me a 1990 13 inch Craftsman Scroll Saw. With your guidance and encouragement, I will mark this day with my first project ( Bottom) and the Jimi Hendrix (top) I just finished. Thank you for all the help and mentoring. rjR
Neat projects. I still have my first scrollsaw-- a little longer ego than yours though. I bought it new in the fall of 1953--yes it still works. No I do not use it much. It is very limited on the blade stroke and cutting ability; as it does not have any rotating parts of any kind! As the blade moves less than 1/6 inch it is the safest power tool in the shop. It started life as an 11 inch throat-- the best welder I ever knew lengthened it for me sometime in the early 1970's. I got one of those for Christmas as a kid. My mother loved it as much as I did. Fedido

That is amazing! I would hold onto it too just because it is a part of how we made it to where we are now. The wife must be getting bored because she has come out to the garage while I am cutting. I expect her to try something in the next couple of days. Edited April 14, 2020 by Fedido amazingkevin
