I tried to upload a new profile picture and the quality was really bad. Turns out I had the profile picture settings set at a super low size and resolution. Probably been like that for years and I never noticed. At any rate, if you have a poor profile picture on SSV and you want something better, feel free to upload a new one. I made it to a max size of 800px (wide or tall) and 1200kb in filesize.
