Popular Post cashew
I am in love with this wood. It's called Black Limba and when I saw it I had a thought (usually a dangerous thing). But it worked!! This is also my second attempt at angle cutting on my scroll saw (the first is the plywood trial in the pics -- a disaster). My first I cut in the wrong direction. The design is also my own, I think, but after all the pics I looked through prepping for this - who knows OzarkSawdust, Phantom Scroller, heppnerguy and 15 others
RabidAlien
That is DEFINITELY one sexy piece of wood!!! Very nicely cut! I'm assuming you did a quasi-inlay thing here, cut the center out, then moved it around to the bottom and attached via the overlap? cashew

Exactly -- just like bowls -- but this is my first -- building up to it Even the end grain on this is cool Edited April 18, 2020 by cashew RabidAlien
