Popular Post Charlie E Posted April 22, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted April 22, 2020 I saw this pattern by @Fish when I first joined SSV and have been wanting to cut it. I like smaller portraits so I just did from the elbows up because things were too small with his whole body in a small piece of wood. It's cut in 5/8" quarter sawn red oak, and is 7 3/4" X 7 3/4". I saw that you did another pattern with his left ear Dan but I preferred this one since it looks so much like the original picture. I used black canvas material for the backer. Thanks for a great pattern Dan. Scrolling Steve, Hawk, frankorona and 10 others 12 1 Quote

Tomanydogs Posted April 23, 2020 Report Posted April 23, 2020 Great cutting Charlie. “Wonderful Tonight” is one of my most favourite songs. I love the wood you used for this portrait. @Fish what a terrific pattern. Charlie E 1 Quote

OzarkSawdust Posted April 24, 2020 Report Posted April 24, 2020 Fantastic work!! That's a really great cutting of Eric. I've been a fan of his for 50 some years. A friend of mine toured with him back in the 70s and Played drums on at least 2-3 of his albums. Jamie also toured with Bob Seger and Peter Frampton. Charlie E 1 Quote
