Has anyone experienced this with mineral spirits? It appears to be made with snot! The mineral spirits appear milky. I'd never seen that before. When 50% BLO is added the last photo shows what the mixture looks like. When pouring it out into a pan I'm careful to not pour the snot out into the pan. At the end the residue is like a thick mucus. I then throw it out along with the jar and get a new jar. I'm thinking I could strain it. Anyone else have this problem?

it has to do with the new GREEN designation. look for the regular one, if it is available in your state. buy the kleen strip in the blue/gold metal can if it is available where you live. i know like about 15 years ago a shop  did alot of mail order stuff for woodworking. certain states restricted the sale of certain finishes and thinners.i  am not a big fan of what they have done with all this stuff.

We are not allowed m/s in the county where I live but are allowed to buy paint thinner. Which stinks. Air pollution? Who knows what the state morons think? Oops. No politics. Sorry.

Ray, L.A. county is just 15 minutes away. I can buy it here in Ventura Co. or, you can order it from Amazon.
BTW, isn’t it the Red team that runs Orange Co.?

It didn't go bad.  That is what the green version of odorless MS looks like.

I used it today. It works just fine. I just left the snot at the bottom, not pouring it out. When I get towards the bottom of the 50/50 I'll just toss it out and make a new batch.
