baggetta Posted May 1, 2020 Report Share Posted May 1, 2020 This pattern is part of my Western theme cuttings. Nothing like a beautiful horse in full gait. I submit to you one famous horse called Cochise, owned by none other than Little Joe. You remember him from the popular show Bonanza. If you recall the horse he was a sturdy paint with white spots. I did two versions of this art piece. One of them has the spots of the horse raised in the wood. The wood is stained a dark color and the spots left in the original color. The other piece has the spots removed from the body and open air shows behind the running steed. I also used the base slightly modified so that it hints at the silhouette of the horse.
