Popular Post Charlie E
Fred Rogers was a great man. No man stands taller than when he stoops to help a child. Scrolling Steve, frankorona, RabidAlien and 8 others

It would be hard to find someone my age in the US that didn't know him. He's best known as "Mr. Rogers". He did a children's television program. Bill WIlson
Fred Rogers was probably one of the best things to happen to children's TV in the history of TV. His gentle and caring approach to using the forum to educate and enlighten children was truly a wonderful thing. He was truly one of a kind, but we could use more folks like Fred Rogers these days. Charlie, that's a very nice tribute to a great man. Well done! Charlie E

Marg Yes he is. Even not knowing of him the movie would be worth a watch. He was just such a gentle, soft spoken, amazing man that it might make you wonder if he was really like that or was it just an act. But yes, he was. If you've got 4 minutes this is an amazing clip of the real Fred Roger testifying before the Senate in 1969.
