I cut this fun pattern by @lawson56 of The Monkeys for my shop wall today. Got in a rush to finish and nailed the backer to the front. Not my first time to do this. 😞 Thankfully the back side looked about as good as the front in this case. I loved watching these guys on Saturday mornings as a kid, so I'll enjoy seeing them on my wall. Even if it's a mirror image. :) 1/2" oak, about 6 1/2" X 9"

I loved their music when I was  a teenager, still have their first album.  Great work Charlie and don't worry I have turned a cutting the wrong way, unfortunately for me the writing was backwards too.

Maybe we should scroll a word pattern reminder to double check before we attach the backer. :)  And attach it backwards to drive the point home! May just do that. ;)

You are not alone with gluing the wrong side, I too am among the many who have. I usually just wash off the clue and redo it. I have even spray glue, thinking I had a clear finish can in my hand..

Your piece came out quite well, in spite of the small error done. because it had no words in it, it really does not matter

Much better than a cross threaded wing nut, lol. Very popular back then!!! I like the thick portraits a lot!!! Professionally cut Charlie!!!

Thanks Kevin! I appreciate it. I like the thick wood too.
