Welcome to the village we are so glad that you found us. I do not tell folks which saw to buy because it comes down to a choice that you have to make. I will suggest that you get as much saw with as many features that you want / think you might want that you can afford. Typically the better the saw you buy the more enjoyable it will be for you as you learn. Now this does not hold true for everyone but rather a rule of thumb.

Your a member now !welcome!,I' was looking at a GMC 16" scroll saw, as a back up awhile back.They just came out january in the usa and may be available to you there as a choice.I think their made in austrailia.$99.00 is all they cost here! :)

Hi...and welcome to the Village...I would look for a saw that doesn't need tools to change the blade if you are planning to do a lot of internal cuts...variable speed is also desirable...have a good look at a Dewalt788 first and then decide from there...also check out Steve Good on Youtube...hope this helps..
