Puzzleguy
i know when i had a problem with my on/off switch on my delta sander , delta was not very helpful after a long phone wait ( this is before the pandemic ) they told me they dont make that part any more - I called grizzly tools -they told me it should fit ( or i could send it back ) it actually was a perfect fit -was exactly the same part as the delta ( which is a american older machine ) and it was like 8 bucks -daahh . Id suggest calling Grizzly and asking them they might have a block that will fit your machine - I actually trust them more than the original manufacturer. Im not a fan of the extension block -becasue i typically have to special order the blades - their not on the wall of my home depot . I'm getting very interested in band saws lately.Don't know about yours but all the tips and tricks I find on band saws are worth reading and doing. Simple placement of the teeth in the center of the top wheel gets accurate cuts, for one. "Teeth in the center of the top wheel"? What is that? I read/heard recently that you don't want to center the blade on the wheels. The correct way, I heard is to put the deepest part of the gullet in the center with the teeth a bit closer the outside of the wheel. The bandsaw "teeth" need to track right in the center of the top wheel. Here I was putting the bandsaw blade in the center of the wheel , no control that way.makes sence!!!
