Popular Post Iguanadon
A friend of mine flew his drone over my local weekly market today and started this video clip at my booth. I definitely need one of these drones. My first event of the year. It was so-so, nothing fabulous and below what I had hoped for a holiday weekend, but hey at least I'm doing markets again. trackman
Is it just me, I can’t get the video after I click on it?
Rolf
I am amazed that they allowed the market to open. You are definitely in a beautiful area. How close to the beaches do you live? The ocean and bays in our area have always been my therapy. That lake would be perfect for a fleet of RC sailboats. Our Village marina is still closed, it is being rebuilt not because of Covid. So I haven't even bothered to uncover my boat. Regarding drones we have a local nature photographer with a high end drone. He periodically flies it over our barrier beach and the new inlet that was opened during Sandy. The quality of the images are amazing. They definitely are a great resource. GrampaJim
Video worked for me. Beautiful area. As far as drones go, I would never have one - I would not get anything else done, cause I would be playing with it all the time!

Our state (North Carolina) has actually been behind many other states as we just allowed restaurants to open at 50% occupancy 2 days ago. Bars still closed. The weekly craft market opened on time last week but I waited to see how it was going to go. Yesterday went well, I had wipes and used one any time I touched anything I know anyone else had touched. I stayed towards the back of my tent and talked to potential customers from there, giving my "pitch". If I had to step up to the tables I put a mask on. So, you saw from the drone the lake is just a block from the beach. I live a few blocks from the lake. We are 6 blocks from the ocean. Been here coming up on 6 years now and still love it as much as we did the day we arrived. Rolf

Roberta Moreton
If I lived there, I wouldn’t be in my shop or house ever! We are around 2 hours away. Close enough for a day trip, far enough to not go every day.

amazingkevin
Another attraction gimmick having the advertisement sign with the 3d drone view so they can see how much entertainment is available!!! Iguanadon
heppnerguy
Nice to see you being able to get back into your sales. I know you worked hard to ready for them and have lost a couple of your regulars. thanks for the videos. A beautiful area indeed. I was stationed in NC when I was in the Army in 1958- 1961. I did not like the humidity there in the summer. We have really high temperatures here in Arizona but really low humidity so it works pretty well for me. Good luck, I hope as people start getting out and about more , you make up the sales you have lost. Dick heppnerguy Iguanadon
