Sam777
Hello forum, This has been talked about and discussed many times but I can't find it: I used BLO 50/50 and have been waiting for that piece to lose the smell of that 1 coat but it still smells Can I spray oil base lacquer as final finish. This is for indoor use. Tha is a lot Sam OCtoolguy
Denny Knappen
That is exactly what I did with the "Red Fox" posted earlier OCtoolguy
dgman
Yes you can. For me, 24 hours is plenty of time for the 50/50 mix to dry. I use Deft semi gloss spray lacquer for my topcoats. OCtoolguy
Sam777
Thank you guys I was worried that the laquer wouldn't stick on top the mixture OCtoolguy
kmmcrafts
Drying time will vary considerably depending upon your humidity and temps.. Coming from someone who has worked with automotive finishing for several years.. Higher humidity can nearly double the full cure times..and in some cases.. triple the times.. JFYI OCtoolguy
