24 hours? NE!
I can't believe I haven't found this site before now. I've been scrolling for about 15 years. I mostly work with smaller and simpler items - crosses and such. I came across this forum while looking for information on creating a pattern of my church (I'm a pastor). I don't trust myself, so I was looking for tutorials. I've attached a few of my more recent projects. 24 hours? NE!
Thank you everyone. I've participated in several forums in the past during my heydays of scroll sawing projects before my oldest was into kindergarten. Now I'm able to get into sawing again and have missed it more than I thought. Photography and coaching kids' sports was my primary focus between wood focus. heppnerguy
Welcome to The Village from Southern Arizona where the daily temperatures are running from 106 to 115 degrees. I guess summer is here now. You mentioned that you were looking for the pattern tutorials and you will find a forum if you scroll down the forum list and see the tutorial forum. Our lustrous leader, Travis Cook has taken his time and helped many with tutorials for Inkscape and GIMP that start at the beginning of these programs and leads you onward until you are comfortable making patterns for yourself. If you decide pattern making really isn't in you liking, you can simple request a pattern in the "pattern request" forum and someone will be happy to try and make a pattern for you. If you are taking a pattern tutorial lesson and get lost, all you have to do is leave a text with your problem and Travis will get back to you and help you figure it out. Glad you are here with us Dick heppnerguy
