When I first got my EX-21 I was surprised how much vibration it had just sitting it on a bench.. then I had mounted it to a cheap HF stand that I had another tool mounted on at one time but sold the tool and kept the stand.. stand footprint was too small so I bolted a piece of plywood on it.. It had more vibration mounted to that stand than it did just setting on a bench.. Finally I picked up a actual EX-21 stand and what a difference... All that said.. I think a nice heavy built wood stand would work pretty well provided you mount the saw in the center of it to distribute the weight to the stand and legs evenly.. When I built the stand for my EX21, I did just that but I put wheels on the rear of it so I could do like a wheelbarrow to move it around. It has worked out great. Sitting on the rubber matting there is virtually no vibration. I am doing the exact same thing with the new stand for the EX16 but it has the onboard dust system on it. Can you elaborate on who/what it is and what type of music is it called? I like soft jazz and blues like Eric Clapton plays. Any suggestions. I have a family account with Google that allows five people to use it and includes all the YouTube, YouTube Music, and YouTube for kids with no adds. The Family account is $14.99 per month for five people. They have just about anything you want in music and you can upload your music. Purchased music is DRM free and you can download it. In the shop, I almost always wear ear protection. My ear protection of choice is the 3m Worktunes connect. They have both wired and Bluetooth.
