I have not done any frames with it. G'day Rolf, When I started my apprenticeship we still used animal glue. Had it in an electric pot which we used to fill with pellets of glue. I don't know if it was any better than PVA, but it wasn't any worse just a lot more mucking about. The beauty with it was, that if a piece needed repairs, and I mean an OLD piece you could heat the joint and pop it apart. Rolf and NC Scroller 2 Quote

Furniture restorers like it for that reason, plus the fact that it is period correct. Stinks to high heaven though. Even the Titebond pre-mixed version has a distinct odor. John B 1 Quote
