cjswoodcrafts
wood is a mystery, will have to check my book of wood pics, my own design, just used the table saw to cut about an 1/2 inch cut for the lid, scrolled cut the inside box, bottom is oak plywood 1/4 inch red felt finished with linseed oil with an oak knob i got from the store. easy and simple, but looks great

montgomery0
I have been looking at boxes to see the best way to make and incorperate something more than 4 alike strips of wood a top and bottom. This is a grand Idea to use on a special piece of wood such as you have done. Ill be looking for that special piece now. Have you discovered what type of wood you used yet???? Monkey ??? Indoneasian toyin?? Very Nice..Much Respect
