Popular Post Charlie E Posted July 6, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted July 6, 2020 (edited) I surprised my next door neighbors with a portrait of their beautiful 4 year old daughter. I think they liked it. The daughter however held it back out to me and said, "You can keep it." Edited July 7, 2020 by Charlie E GusGustin, FrankEV, Wilson142 and 16 others 17 2 Quote

I don't use any software. Old school carbon paper. I print the photo out as big as I can on letter sized paper then use carbon paper and trace where I think I should cut out. Charles Dearing has some tutorials on this method on Youtube. I guess it's pretty primitive but I enjoy it. Quote
goldfish Posted August 16, 2020 Report Posted August 16, 2020 Wow Charlie thats even more impressive. If I sent you a photo would you mind having a go at converting to use for scrolling. It would be a photo of a dog. Thanks Rich Quote

I'm really slow. Usually takes me a few hours and mine are usually kind of a rough draft and I make changes as I go along, while cutting. There are however lots of guys on here that do it. Just click on forums and scroll down to pattern requests. They're better than me anyway. Quote
rdatelle Posted August 18, 2020 Report Posted August 18, 2020 Great job on that. Love the wood you used. Charlie E 1 Quote
