Popular Post OzarkSawdust
I cut this Russ Beard pattern today. 1/8 Baltic Birch ply. First time I cut something with Pegas 2/0 spirals that didn't end up in the trash! But I only had 2 blades left, that I had abused before, and they broke. Finished Charlie's coat with a #1 Pegas. frankorona, amazingkevin, Charlie E and 8 others
wombatie
I have no idea who Charlie Daniels is but you did a great job of the portrait. Well done. Marg OzarkSawdust
John B
He'll be kicking that Devils arse again Nice cutting. I often use both flat and spiral blades, just for that sort of thing. Long straight, looping cuts the flat lots of twists and turns = Spiral amazingkevin and OzarkSawdust 1

Marg He was a well known country singer. And a fantastic fiddle player. If you like country music go on You Tube and listen to a few of his songs. Thanks for the complement! wombatie and amazingkevin

I started the first cut with a Pegas #1 MG that was in the saw. Then I thought I would give "the Devil's blade" aka spiral another try. Usually it eats everything it touches and I throw it in the trash, but I got it to behave...mostly. I only had the 2 blades left so I cut the tight stuff first and when the last blade broke the only thing left to do was his coat. I'll order some today. The only ones I've tried were 2/0. Is there any other sizes that work well? Or is a larger size easier to learn spiral cutting? John B

Depending upon how fine the cut is or the width of the lines as to which blade I use. Just have fun OzarkSawdust
