Popular Post baggetta
Current Issue of Scrollsaw Woodworking & Crafts Thought I'd let everyone know that the new issue of "Scrollsaw Woodworking & Crafts" is now (or will be soon) available on the newsstand. Lots of nice projects in it and they have also included one of mine on making wizard wands on the scroll saw, using the compound cutting technique. I came up with the idea after working on compound cut of different varieties, and was wondering if I could cut something nice and long. What better than a Wizard's Wand (can also be used as a pointer or conductor's baton). Well you can check out the article in the Fall issue #80 if you like. I'm also offering a special eBook of 16 wand patterns, in case you get the wand cutting bug. It is available for $3.50 in my Etsy store.https://www.etsy.com/listing/822012980/magic-wand-compound-cut-scroll-saw?ref=shop_home_active_1 Phantom Scroller, ChelCass, Tomanydogs and 8 others
meflick
Thanks for sharing Al. I got my magazine In the mail the first part of the week And just did a quick glance through and your compound cut wands were one of the things that caught my eye but haven’t had time to look at fully yet. However, with lots of HP fans in my family, was thinking would be great to try.
Jim McDonald
Looked at these last night and they are neat designs. Have no need for them right now, but might cut a couple for Christmas shows if I do some.
Oges
Congratulations on the article, they look quite interesting. I have never had much success with compound cutting, but these look they would be good to try

meflick
You can find Al’s website here: http://www.baggetta.com/pebooks/puzzle_patterns.htm I did a quick check but didn’t see the wands there. However, it did provide an email for him so you might email him directly to inquire: abaggetta@comcast.net From his site, there was a link to his Etsy page: https://www.etsy.com/shop/RealWoodCrafts?ref=seller-platform-mcnav§ion_id=21355089 but I didn’t see the wands there either. He may have taken the, down for some reason. we can also tag Al here @baggetta and he might see it here and reply on if they can still be obtained somewhere.
