Spidermine Posted July 26, 2020 Report Posted July 26, 2020 For you guys that like Harbor Freight, try this out. Buy a cheap sander, and keep this on it permanently. I’ve had the same one on a cheap 20$ sander for 4 years now, never changed it. https://duragrit.com/DuraDisc-Carbide-Sanding-Disc.html Then keep whatever fine paper you normally use for finish sanding on your good Dewalt, Mikita, Bosch sander, and just switch between the two. Also one of these is a must. https://www.harborfreight.com/sanding-belt-cleaner-30766.html Works on belt sanders, disc sanders, hell it even works on nail files. Quit wasting money on sandpaper. Spend that money on lumber, or spray lacquer, or beverages. kmmcrafts 1 Quote
John B Posted July 26, 2020 Report Posted July 26, 2020 A bit late to the party, I loved Klingspoor. I purchased 200 of the 360, 220 and 180 and 120 quite a few years ago. Have run out iof a few now and have been getting Diablo from the local hardware. If our Dollar improves a bit, I'll be placing another order with klingsore. I also use their paper for my Drum sander and their rolls for the oscillating drum sander. kmmcrafts 1 Quote
kmmcrafts Posted July 30, 2020 Author Report Posted July 30, 2020 Got my order in the mail today... so the service seems timely as one should expect.. I haven't done any sanding with it yet and probably won't for a few more weeks since I have some sheets of my other paper left to use up.. That said, looking in a couple of the boxes the paper looks and feels like a good quality... but the real test will be using it.. Thanks to everyone who had made suggestions.. I'll recap on this after I run through a couple sheets.. John B 1 Quote
