OzarkSawdust Posted July 24, 2020 Report Posted July 24, 2020 (edited) I'm working on a Mick Jagger pattern by Steve Good. I'll work on the name tomorrow. It looks like it is raised and the cut outs are meant to look like shadows. I'll have to see if I have a drill bit small enough to make the blade holes! A spiral would be a one pass in that narrow spot...but I would wreck it for sure. I'm thinking maybe a Pegas #1, don't think a #3 would turn around. Has anyone done this one? If so what did you use on the name? I like it so far! Well, Here's the finished product. Edited July 25, 2020 by OzarkSawdust meflick, Oges, Phantom Scroller and 4 others 7 Quote
meflick Posted July 24, 2020 Report Posted July 24, 2020 Great work. I'm sure you will do a fine job on the lettering as well. OzarkSawdust 1 Quote
OzarkSawdust Posted July 24, 2020 Author Report Posted July 24, 2020 Started on the name...going to be a slow go! I dropped down to a #68 drill bit and a Pegas#1 MG blade. Tried a 2/0 spiral...for about 1/8" and took it out! I'm cutting about 3/16" ( they say it's 1/4" but I don't think so) Hard Maple veneer ply from Ocooch. I'll work on it some more today. Wanted to get the Owl framed! Quote
