Love that Applewood. I picked up a brisket ($1.99/lb) and smoked a chuck of it in Applewood. We all agreed that was the best tasting, tender and juiciest ever.  The next week I bought an electric smoker for convenience but am not yet happy with it.

Dan, what kind of smoker do you use?

I have this one....it's propane powered....it has a lot of room in it.....I like the clear glass door too..... https://www.farmandfleet.com/products/1081305-masterbuilt-mps-340g-thermotemp-xl-propane-smoker.html

I bought Master built but went with electric. It has a digital display that is extremely hard to read. Does the temp stay pretty constant with the gas? And does it seem to produce a lot of smoke?

This one has a thermocouple in it.....keeps it more consistent in colder weather
