Popular Post Foxfold
I've only ever done single pieces before as I never had the courage to stack cut. But I'm not displeased with the outcome. don watson
Looking very good Brenda. Is this the laserply stuff ? Is it still causing breakouts at the back ? Don W

Don W It is Don, but it's awful to cut so it's being returned and I've ordered some 'proper' stuff It was a bit better to cut when stacked but still not what I want. amazingkevin

rdatelle
They are tricky to stack cut sometimes. You did great on that one. Foxfold

Must admit, I was expecting 'a mess' but fortunately they both turned out fine I think. amazingkevin
meflick
Nice work Brenda. The benefit of stack cutting is you get much more for your time and effort. In this case, two for the price of one. Foxfold
loftyhermes
Nice cutting Brenda, did you use a smaller blade for it? Foxfold

No, I just used my Niqua #3, I do love that blade. I have just bought a gross of the smaller size though. I've ordered some better wood so will try the #2 blades on that. wombatie
They look terrific Brenda. I don't mind stack cutting but it always bugs me that the bottom one gets LOTS of fuzzies. Marg Foxfold
woodduck
They look great Brenda. I am doing a stack at the moment & hope they turns out like yours. Foxfold
GusGustin
That's some good stuff, Brenda !!!! So .. what method did you use to stick them together for the cut? I have not done a stack cut yet, either .. but would love to try it. I also have a fondness for that #3 Niqua .. my 2/0 is also Niqua. I tried the pegas, but, broke three of them just putting the white tensioner down on the pegas saw. Put the Niqua in - and - have never had that problem. So .. tape? Glue? nail? The only problem I had was that one of the pieces was bowed slightly which meant I had to push them together when cutting the middle bits. Next time if I have a bowed piece I'll put a tiny nail in the 'cut out ' bits. I'm well used to cutting ¼" wood so I didn't find it too hard, just felt a little strange in places
