As for the raising the back of your saw table, I think that it wouldn't give you any trouble. But to leave it unattached or unstrapped or whatever I think that you are just looking for trouble, or an accident to happen. They are bolted down for a reason and I feel that they should remain bolted down even if it is in a different position. Len Quote
