Popular Post Rockytime
This is not exactly scrolling so I didn't put in the bragging section. Things are a little slow so I just decided to post something. After scrolling for an hour or so both my eyes and butt get tired. I take a break and read a book on my cell phone. This is made from scraps and glued together with Titebone "Quick and Thick" adhesive. I think that's the name of the stuff. I may shoot it with a spray can of paint. Not meant to be pretty, just functional. The pegs, I'll round the tops. OCtoolguy, barb.j.enders, jbrowning and 10 others 12
jollyred
Quick, cheap and it works great. What's not to like? OCtoolguy, Rockytime and Roberta Moreton 2
Tomanydogs
That’s a great idea Les. I have a charger like that, never thought of doing something like that. OCtoolguy
I had one of those contact phone chargers and I have the same phone as you I think. Mine is an S7. Anyway, I used to lay my phone on the charger at night rather than plug it in. It cost me a battery and a new back cover for my phone. The phone got too hot. Anyway, be careful with yours. Mine is in a landfill nearby. Rockytime
Rockytime
I have 2 chargers like that. My phone is a S20. I use a plug-in at night and use the dock when I'm reading on it. OCtoolguy

Rockytime
The phone you saw in the photo is my S7 Edge. I had to upgrade to the S20 because I just got new hearing aids. They are Bluetooth and paired with the S20. They would not work on an android lesser than S10 so for not much more I got the S20 which is 5G. Very fast. For several years I could not use a phone, watch TV without closed captioning, You Tube, etc. My hearing for conversations, with my old hearing aids, required me to be in front of the one speaking and see their lips move. Very limiting. My old aids were three years old and cost $5,000. These were $5300 after trading my old aids in plus $800 for a new phone. But the difference in technology is unbelievable. At my age 81, why not go out enjoying myself. kmmcrafts and OCtoolguy
kmmcrafts
That's a nice phone stand, I need to make me one.. Nice phone too glad it is helpful for you.. I still have kids living at home, so I buy the cheapest phones I can find and use the Straightalk service.. Currently using a iphone 5S... everyone says man that phone still works and is usable.. Yeah I do most my pictures and videos with it.. LOL Get anything newer and it'd probably run my scroll saw for me.. Like you say... technology advancement and what these new phones can do is amazing.. Rockytime and OCtoolguy 1
TAIrving
There is a pattern for a cell phone stand on Steve Good's site. http://www.stevedgood.com/manstand.pdf I have made a few of them and my wife loves them.
