Popular Post flarud Posted September 20, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted September 20, 2020 Just finished this for the wife. It is sitting on top of a LED light. I made her a Snowman a few years ago for it. 1/8" acrylic sandwiched between two pieces of 1/8" BB. I used a FD UR2. It cut really smooth. barb.j.enders, RabidAlien, meflick and 12 others 15 Quote

Spirithorse https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N6VKOQS/ref=dp_prsubs_1 http://www.stevedgood.com/lightart.pdf This isn't the exact link to the one that I have, mine is not available it says. But this one looks exactly like mine. I got the idea from one of Steve Goods plans. I'll try to link his plans too. I have made her a Snowman in the past and will probably make a ghost this weekend for it. I would like to maybe find an easy pattern for a Scarecrow too. With making this butterfly I learned that whatever the pattern is, it's best to make it narrow so that the light can hit it. The edge of the butterfly doesn't have much light on it. Knowing that now, I could have adjusted where I put the "base" on the pattern. Edited September 30, 2020 by flarud Quote
flarud Posted September 23, 2020 Author Report Posted September 23, 2020 Here is a picture with the room lights on, you can see the butterfly better. spirithorse 1 Quote

I wonder if they have any where the LED base spins in circles,, that would be cool. Quote
