Popular Post Dave Monk
This is my first compound cutting project. Made of aspen, walnut and an accent of cherry on the board. The drawer slides all the way through allowing access on both sides. frankorona, GPscroller, Frank Pellow and 11 others 12

spirithorse
Dave, you never cease to astound me! Quote " This is my first compound cutting project." End Quote This is absolutely museum quality craftsmanship and you make it seem like child's play! I don't even think you have had the pattern that you were asking about for more than two weeks, have you? I could rave on and on about how envious I am of your talents so, I'll just stop here with the request that you continue to show us your beautiful work. God Bless! Spirithorse You are way too flattering but thanks. I put it on my FB page.....my daughter shared it and I had several people wanting a price but I guess they didn't want it bad enough because I still have it. Took a lot of time and material on that one.
GPscroller
Beautiful work as always Dave. I love compound cuts, cut eleven chess sets in fourteen months in 2018-2019. You are right, they are pricey to sell because of the time involved and people don't realize that. Awesome job. Jeff Dave Monk

Frank Pellow
Having once made a chess set and board that was a lot simpler than yours, I speak from experience when I say: "Great design and great implementation of that design".
