meflick Posted October 1, 2020 Report Posted October 1, 2020 Wow, another litter of pups and 10 to boot! Going to keep you and momma busy for a bit. Not sure how you find time to do the pups and your wood working too! Quote

Not sure how you find time to do the pups and your wood working too! We have one litter a year usually and for the first two weeks mum feeds them and I can go to my workshop, after that I have 6 weeks of running around after them like a lunatic so no workshop time until they leave home. Luckily, these are all sold and have new owners waiting patiently, some of them since last January. We are very fortunate, because of who we are, we don't have to advertise or get left with any pups needing to find homes. But it's still hard work to raise them as sane and sensible pups that are ready for the 'outside' world. I'm usually ready for a week off when they leave Ps, edited to add that my dogs are my life, woodworking is just something I do when I have time. I quite often don't go near my saw for weeks on end. This year however is a bit different..... Edited October 2, 2020 by Foxfold WayneMahler and meflick 2 Quote
