Popular Post Frank Pellow
I cut this from 6mm thick 1/4 sawn White Oak faced veneer and backed it with the same. The backer is stained with Saman Canadian Maple water-based stain. All the sawing was done with Pegas #2/0 spiral blades and it took about 9 hours to cut. The Rosseter-Pellow frame is made of 1/4 sawn White Oak and stained with Saman Black water-based stain. After staining, the frame was sanded to give it a distressed appearance. Everything is finished with 3 coats of semi-gloss clear rattle-can spray stuff. Here is one photo taken before framing and another taken after framing: Edited October 9, 2020 by Frank Pellow don watson, Woodrush, Dave Monk and 7 others 9
