Frank Pellow
I got the idea for this in the thread: https://www.scrollsawvillage.com/forums/topic/40448-steve-good-ornaments/ The ornament design is Steve Good's. I purchased several of these patterns from Steve and, today, I made a prototype. The mask is held in place with Velcro Dots. Margaret likes the prototype which means that I can go ahead and make about 20 more of these. rdatelle
I have 20 patterns from Steve to. I'm unable to do them myself because all my tools are on there way to Florida. My good friend Kevin said he would do them for me. Thanks amazinkev. Jim McDonald

don in brooklin on
Frank are you stack cutting? When I do I stack 4 - 1/8 and cut every thing but the name. Split and then add and cut the name. Masks are a fun thing and look good.

I'm making them out of 6mm thick ply so will not try to stack 4 of them, but I will try to stack cut 3. Then I glue the name on them and cut that.
Frank Pellow
I have now actually completed the first three of these. Here is a photo: I found some smaller white dots to use rather than the large black ones that were on the prototype. The loops have been crocheted from white wool. I'm going to try to find matching blue wool for the ornaments not yet cut. I thought about painting or dyeing these Christmas colours but decided to go with the natural wood for the bear and the blue for the mask. Jim McDonald
That is the way I did mine. Used the hearts and the veining to register the name plates. Putting a strong light behind them made it easy to line up everything.
