No Brag, Just Fact.

For those who aren't familiar with the title of this post, "No brag, just fact" is a quote from an old Western television show I watched when I was a kid, "The Guns Of Will Sonnet." Certainly not bragging about this post, just knew you guys could relate with my frustration.

I was cutting this for a friend to give to some friends of his who bought their dream beach home at Dauhpin Island. After about 2-3 hours of tedious cutting I took the top pattern off to find what I thought was a small crack on the back side went almost all the way through and some pieces feel out. I cracked it the rest of the way to vent my frustration.  Strike one!

I feel your pain and frustration, I've had that happen to me. I snapped the whole piece over my knee and threw it across the room.  !!

And I used to love that show when I was a kid. That and Wanted Dead or Alive - Steve McQueen!

I used to have a wood burning stove in my shop that seemed to always stay well fed!

Sorry to hear that happened to you.
I think most of us have had that same problem but,
that certainly doesn't ease the pain and frustration when it happens.

Yep, had it happen not so long ago.  So frustrating.

Well when your felt lemons make lemonade. I see a quick fix is to make the same fall out at the end of  the word Islands And maybe modifie it to look like a star, or just a fancy shape. I,ve been there with the Lord's prayer right from the start letters poped out. But I finished it 20" x 40" because of what it was and my first of many Lord's prayers . I don,t think I learned my lesson though.
