WoW Dick, those came out great. Who's pattern is that from and how big are they.  Love the colors. Did you paint both sides.

I bought the patterns off ETSY. They did not come out very well so I just wing it. I made these about 8 inches tall. I did not paint the back side of the  letters because I thought they would glue better if  I did not and besides they can not be seen anyway. I will post a copy of a letter here for  you so you can see what I am talking about.  At first I used Inkscape and made all the lines so they were cuttable and after doing a few, found the pattern making was too time consuming and I could wing them without a problem, so I just printed them out like they came and they were not that difficult to figure it out as I went along. Thanks for you questions and comments

Well done, Dick,
I guess I'm a little slow on this one because most of them look like first names rather than surnames.
Maybe those are the ones you mentioned for the grandkids?

God Bless! Spirithorse

No Bob, I just choose to use the initial of the  name I was making. That is what I wanted to do with them. I thought it made it more personal that way.  The grandkids are different then the adult ones I posted here. This was not even half of them.

I just noticed that you have a backer on them. I tried finding the patterns on ETSY but couldn't find them. Do you have the link to them. Thanks, Ralph/

Thanks for the reply, Dick,
Steve Good recently posted what he called Wooden Monogram Letters also which you may enjoy comparing.

Yes I saw those. I liked them a lot. I'm sure I will be using those in the future.. just not right now as I have the  ones done for now. Thanks for the heads up.
