Popular Post ben2008 Posted November 2, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) A Musical Bank I made this for my great grandson. It plays "I've been working on the railroad" when you drop a coin in the slot on top. It is a small bank slot musical movement. I kind of made it up in my head from plans I have seen through the years and stuff I had laying around forever. I made all the wood parts myself. I already had the clear acrylic side plates from left over projects. The wheels I have had for ages and have no idea where they came from. They are probably 20 to 25 years old. The musical bank is supposed to be whimsical and the color scheme is all mine. I made that up too from some old Delta acrylic paints. You can't see it, but on the back is stenciled in gold lettering. Engine #1. It was fun to make and so far my family likes it especially my great grandson who is 6. It's not meant to be played with. For one thing the wheels don't move. Quote
