new2woodwrk
A while back there was a discussion on some fonts used for various projects. I downloaded them but unfortunately they are not working for my current needs. I'm looking for a sturdy font that I can use for my custom name key hangers Currently I use Cooper Black. It's an "ok" font, but not exactly what I want to use Any and all suggestions are of course greatly appreciated. Thanks as always in advance. jollyred
Check out DaFont for fonts. It has hundreds of fonts in all styles. If you can't find something there, they also refer to a couple of other sites. From your requirements, it would be difficult to know what you need. Foxfold
I agree,, try Dafonts. Not sure what you mean by 'sturdy',
MrsN
These are some of the bold/blocky ones that I use. new2woodwrk
new2woodwrk
Thanks @MrsN Nice choices @jollyred, @Foxfold - thanks I've been there dozens of times. Was hoping for suggestions on fonts more than sites that have them .
don in brooklin on
Could you post a picture of what you are currently doing as It may make a difference? Do you need just caps? Are these stuck on? Thanks I do sports ribbon racks and in this example the name is in Collegiate. The top is cooper black.

Thanks Don, Sure - here is an example of some of what I'm creating.... I'm using Cooper Black, and always all caps Oh and "sturdy" to me is: Easy to cut Block type/style letters Not too fancy
don in brooklin on
I quickly looked at my font collections and printed a sample of some of the fonts that might work. Most of my fonts come from dafont or 1001freefonts. If you see something and can't find it send me a PM. Most of the stuff I do is sports related so I either use a Cooper Black, Braddon or a font like Collegiate or Freshman. I also did sign using Texas and it was different. but can't find picture.
