Popular Post Foxfold
I finally finished this piece for my Son in Law as a gift. Tony helped with the frame. Now I'm having doubts, I see so many flaws. An honest opinion please,, would you be happy to receive this ? Edited to add that this pattern was created by @grampa and found in the library. Jim McDonald
It's been said many times, "We are our worst critics"!! The problems you see are because you know where they are based on the pattern. Pattern is in the waste can and cutting is framed and looks good. I'm not going to search for what I think MIGHT be an issue. It will look good on the wall. dgman
Brenda, as all above have said, we are our worst critic. Whenever I have a project that I have cut and I know it has flaws, I will set it aside for a wile, then I’ll come back to it in a week or two. Most times, the flaws disappear, or at least not noticeable. Your cutting looks great! If I owned that car, I would be thrilled to receive it as a gift, As long as I have been cutting, I don’t think I have cut a perfect project, but I have learned to fix most of my mistakes! danny, OCtoolguy, barb.j.enders and 2 others 3

Foxfold
Thank You all for your encouragement, it means a lot !! After finishing it last night I thought my straight lines could have been straighter, my curves could have been neater and the frame didn't fit quite properly so I filled the gaps and to me they were glaringly obvious, however, I've had a sleep since last night and this morning it looks a lot better I really appreciate all your kind comments. meflick and OCtoolguy 1

Dragonkort
a totaly fantastic peice!!! ialso see no flaws....more often then not we are the only ones who see the flaws in our projects...as Mr Monk would say it a blessing and a curse.lol seeing our flaws makes us try harder to make our projects great works of art and a blessing because since no one else can see the flaws we are able to sell our work and give them as presents to make other people happy Foxfold and John B 1
