Popular Post Gordon 121 Posted December 18, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted December 18, 2020 This is my first time using resin on a picture, I cut the tiger from scrap plywood added a plain backer, then sliced coloured crayons and melted them with the heat gun, finally covered it all with clear resin, the pics don't do it justice the colours stand out so much better in real life Cheers Gordon Dave Monk, new2woodwrk, FrankEV and 10 others 13 Quote

FrankEV Posted December 18, 2020 Report Posted December 18, 2020 Looks good...very interesting. Did you allow the color to get on the cut surface delibertly or is that just in the picture? Gordon 121 1 Quote

The scrap ply was a deep red colour so I sanded of the top coat I couldn't wait to try melting the sliced crayons so some of the red was still on the surface area but it was just a test so I wasn't too bothered FrankEV 1 Quote
