Since I got the CNC, I have been thinking of ways to combine the two, and I came up with the CNC cut eagle head, and I scrolled the feather with the saw. Came out pretty nice, I glued in a black velvet background, and I painted the 2 little tabs holding the eagle in black, so it looks like hes floating in there. I suppose once I get my programming skills up to snuff I could just have the CNC cut the whole thing. Feather is about 7x3.5", of course it could be made about any size, is 1/2 poplar, and yes, I gave it the burnt look with my propane heater, couldn't resist. jerrysim 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
