jklingel
I am looking at buying a new saw and read "all in the same factory, same specs" etc, but there must be differences in the saws I am interested in. Does anyone already have a comparison sheet, as it were, for the Pegas, King, and Excelsior? They are all similar, but not the same.... I don't think. I have a Seyco and have no real complaints with it, but I also have nothing to compare it to. Pegas seems to get a lot of good press, and I like the 45 degree tilt and the crank on front. One individual said King and Excelsior are the same saw, just different paint and sold in different countries. Has anyone handled all three brands enough to be able to point out the small difference? Price difference seems to indicate quality or feature differences, but that could be hype, too. Has a woodworking mag compared these machines, for instance? That would be super. Thanks. john
Roberta Moreton
Steve Good has done a lot of reviews on the different saws. It can be found on his YouTube channel.
Denny Knappen
I think Bob Duncan did a review on Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts before he began to work with Pegas. Not sure of which issue.
