Lot more holes than I thought there would be at first glance, but it was a fun cut nonetheless. White board is what Home Depot and Lowe’s sells. It could be Pine, Spruce or Douglas fir. What ever fills the Bill. Very nice cutting! Yep, I've seen different grain patterns in whiteboards....I'm not a tree expert by any means but when rummaging through for a board, I'll find myself thinking "dang, that one looks like pine...that one's definitely NOT pine..." I figger its all the random lumber they have left laying around after a pallet is pieced out and someone forgets to label the leftovers. All soft wood, though.
