Dan
Nice! Now you need to make another one so the kids can race them. Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts magazine has a couple of patterns for a hedgehog and armadillo. I plan to cut some for my grandkids next month. I'm glad you posted a finished product in action. Yeah, I've got a T-Rex and a crocodile on deck I'm sure some races are in my future. I would think these would be a big hit for someone who does craft shows. Tonight when it was time for my grandkids to leave we couldn't find the chameleon. Turned out my 3 year old granddaughter had hidden it so her brother wouldn't play with it and forgot. meflick
Nice Charlie. As mentioned, the most recent edition of the Scrollsaw magazine two “ramp walkers” in it. A hedgehog and an armadillo. If you don’t subscribe, itt can be found on newsstands right now. I’m showing a screen capture of the cover which has them on it. They also have a video of them on their website here: http://scrollsawer.com/2021/01/08/scroll-saw-woodworking-crafts-spring-2020-issue-82/ Charlie E
amazingkevin
I enjoyed watching the girls facial expressions enduring the chameleon trudging down the slope. Charlie E

John B
Good stuff Charlie. I have a Kangaroo that does the same thing. Not sure if this will work on you walkers, but when I was kid, before dirt, In the Weeties packets they had little plastic horses (Neddies) that you put together, like a very simple Airfix kit. They came with a weight (A Sheriffs Star) which you ties on to Neddies collar with a piece of cotton. By hanging the star over the edge of the table Neddie would wobble his way across the tablel until he got to the edge and stop. I'll be buggered, I looked for a pic of the Weeties packet and it happened to have the walkers on it. You never know your luck in the big city
