Popular Post spirithorse Posted January 22, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted January 22, 2021 This is certainly nothing to brag about but, I made this old fashioned car from a pattern in a 2012 Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts mag azine for my 8 year old grand-son. The rear wheels turn a cam which makes the driver bounce up and down. It really made me feel good when he told me how much he liked it but, it made me feel even better when he turned it over and examined how the mechanism works! Young children have a brain like a sponge and I want to encourage him to use his mind in any way imaginable, God Bless! Spirithorse cowboyup3371, Woodrush, FrankEV and 12 others 15 Quote

dgman Posted January 23, 2021 Report Posted January 23, 2021 That’s a great looking toy Bob! I’m glad your Grand son loves it! Hopefully, it will become an heirloom. Quote
Scrappile Posted January 23, 2021 Report Posted January 23, 2021 Great job. any chance of seeing video of it working... Quote
GoatHammer Posted January 23, 2021 Report Posted January 23, 2021 That is so cool that the person in the car bounces up and down. And your grandson will forever cherish it because of his granddaddy made it just for him. For him to look under the car to check out the mechanism to how it works thats even better. Definitely that is worth bragging about. amazingkevin 1 Quote
