Twist to Steve Good’s Fairy pattern.

My granddaughter turns 7 in a couple of weeks and is crazy about fairies. Steve Good’s wife shamed him for rarely making patterns appealing to little girls, so he came out with a couple variations of this one last week. I changed it up a little and painted it in her favorite colors. Not my normal style of a scrollsaw project, but I think she’ll like it. You may not notice it at first, but the center of the flower is a blue stained glass jewel.

Normally, neither am I, but this child loves color. I made an exception for her tastes.

I think it is just beautiful and well cut.

The addition of color and the jewel is awsume. 

The use of color was really appropriate in this case.

Love the idea of a jewel in the middle.  We are expecting our granddaughter in May and my daughter is all over fairies - guess the theme of the room.  I plan to cut a few of those for sun catchers.  Have already cut the Once Upon a Time pattern from Steve to turn into a light.  That I still have to paint!
