preprius
I just wanted to share that I used FD blade called aluminum cutter #7. I have a portor cable saw. I had a weak table insert that flexes alot. So I read that I should make an aluminum 1/8" insert to replace the cheap plastic. So I scroll sawed it. The pic is not very good. It shows the the aluminum table insert installed. The black plastic is on the left. So that is my advertisement for FD blades. loftyhermes
I've cut 1/8" aluminium, brass and steel with ordinary Niqua non reverse tooth blades. They wear out quicker cutting the aluminium and brass than with cutting wood but cutting the steel they wore out at an exceptional rate. It's a good job I have a load of them that are at least 20 years old (bought at the same time as my saw) and just needed to use them up.
