Montserrat
In the German forum, where I am a member, a fellow scroller made a 3D printed piece to go under the table to improve dust collection, and let me tell you, my son-in-law 3D printed it for me and I love it! No more of that flimsy piece of plastic foil! OCtoolguy and Dave Monk
Rolf
What about the little pieces that get stuck between the table and the collector? I do love the new technology available to us. The 3d printers are great. The next thing I would do is make a reducer from the 2" hose to one that adapts to my Festool collection. Or re-design the piece you just installed to incorporate a smaller connection. OMG am I talking myself into a 3d printer Edited February 9, 2021 by Rolf OCtoolguy, meflick, WayneMahler and 1 other 1
Montserrat
When I cut tiny pieces, I put tape over the holes for a little while. I have not had pieces stuck there while using the foil piece that came with the Excalibur in 2015. So far - so good. I have no long-term experience with this new device, yet, of course. WayneMahler
Looks nice. Glad to hear it works so well. Seems these 3D printers are finding their way into everything for different purposes. If you could give us a review after getting some time with it. Best of luck with it. Montserrat
This piece really sucks ;-). No really, the suction is phenomenal! Sooo much better than that previous piece of plastic foil. NC Scroller and OCtoolguy 1
