Not much of a subject but it does look like me. Scarred up nose and all. Had my nose shattered with a soft ball about 30 years ago.

Can't place him.  Danny Trejo maybe? Didn't have a glove. I was running from first to second on a double play, didn't slide and got hit by a shortstop with a very good arm.

I tried a self-portrait awhile back, but after my computer crashed with the pattern, my scroll saw started throwing bearings and the wood caught on fire, I figured I'd better call it quits.

Great cutting, nice piece of wood. I thought maybe you were a fighter back in the day. Looks like one of my fathers younger photos. He was a professional boxer he had his nose cartilage completely removed after so many breaks. I used to like to call him door stop nose. And then run.

Being a fighter would be a much cooler story than being too dumb to get out of the way of a double play.
