FrankEV
Beautiful!!!!! Extreamly well done. The little bit of color does wonders. I'm sure your "lovely" wife loves it. Hope you signed and dated it so you won't forget which Valentines day it was made for. TexasDIY

RabidAlien
Dang, that's some serious cutting! Very well done! Did you use spirals on all the petal details or a straight blade? Also....jealous me wants to know where you got the pattern... TexasDIY

I used a Pegas spiral 2/0 for the fine details in the rose petals. Then I switched to a straight blade, probably a #1 Flying Dutchman, to sharpen up the ends of the cuts on about a dozen of the petal highlights. The pattern is from the pattern gallery on this forum in the floral section done by shadylady0447. If you can't find it let me know and I'll see if there is a way to post the link. I thought it looked familiar! I may have already snagged it, if not I'll rummage through the pattern library again! Thanks for bringing it up again! heppnerguy
I cut this one before but you did a much better presentation than did I. Looks so perfect. Nothing more precious to me then when I make things for my bride. Dick heppnerguy TexasDIY
