Popular Post Foxfold Posted February 16, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted February 16, 2021 It's been just over 2 weeks since my argument with a carving knife. The severed nails have now departed and although still 'tender' I'm healing well. I was looking around the Internet for an alternative to bandages and found these !! They arrived today and I couldn't be happier. They protect my fingers from the knocks and scrapes that are so painful. Isn't technology wonderful ? They are big enough to cover the whole finger but I found that a little uncomfortable so I cut them down. The result was far more comfortable. They are made of silicone, primarily I believe for guitar players but will serve just as well for scrolling I think. Scrappile, Dan, Be_O_Be and 10 others 13 Quote
WayneMahler Posted February 16, 2021 Report Posted February 16, 2021 Interesting find. Happy to hear they work for you and make things more comfortable while healing. Hoping you heal faster. Scrolling therapy is always good medicine amazingkevin 1 Quote
jerry1939 Posted February 16, 2021 Report Posted February 16, 2021 I also did carving in the past. Bought "Finger Tips" from office supply stores. Various sizes. They look like your 2nd photo. At our Church, a group of us put inserts in the Bulletins. They work GREAT for that. Don't become a carver if you don't like seeing blood. amazingkevin 1 Quote
